Besides this mission, Spinder Design wants to be inspiring and trendsetting. Besides developing interior items, we want to offer a total picture.
For these reasons we have launched our own paint line: SPINDER DESIGN WALLPAINTS.
The WALL PAINTS collection consists of two colours: Silky Taupe and Dusty Green.
These are in fact the exact same colours that you will also find in the furniture collections of the same name.
The Silky Taupe and the Dusty Green colours serve perfectly as a subtle basis in combination with black, white or natural interior items. Are you going for the complete total concept to get that ton-sur-ton feeling? Then combine the paint with our products from the collection of the same name.
The paint of Spinder Design is a high-quality matte wall paint with an indoor climate purifying effect. In addition, our environmentally friendly paint contains no toxic substances and is easy to clean. The wall paint is available in 1L and 2.5L cans. 1 litre of wall paint is suitable for painting 8-11 m2. Ideal, because most entrances are the smallest rooms in a house.

No VOC (volatile organic compounds):
The paint of Spinder Design is non-toxic and contains no volatile organic compounds or solvents. This means that you and your family do not have to worry about exposure to toxic chemicals in the air.

High dirt and stain removal features make cleaning quick and easy. Easily wash and wipe dirt and stains from your surfaces without damaging the paintwork (Scrub Class 1), so your walls will always look their best.

ECO-friendly:
Our paint is an environmentally friendly paint made from raw materials that have as little impact on the environment as possible.
In addition, the paint is produced on the basis of demand. This way, we try to minimise waste and large stocks.
Water-based:
Our paint is water-based and therefore low in odor, environmentally friendly and elastic; it also has a good adhesive value and dries quickly. Do take into account the relatively quick drying time, because if the temperature is above 20 degrees, the paint dries very quickly. This gives you a chance of visible stripes. It is therefore smart to work at a nice pace and avoid surprises.
Air purifying:
Special pigments in our paint help break down toxic substances such as formaldehyde and unpleasant odours into harmless by-products. This protects your living environment from these airborne pollutants 24/7.

Antimicrobial:
Organic substances that attach themselves to the surface of the paint film, such as harmful micro-organisms, are broken down by the special pigments in the paint. This kills or reduces growth of bacteria, viruses or moulds.
Kickstart your project:
Before you start the makeover of your hallway, we'll give you some useful tips.
You will need this:
- Can of Spinder Design wall paint in the desired colour.
(Remember that 1 litre will cover approximately 10m2. For the best result we recommend to paint your wall in two layers).
- Paint roller with holder and paint tray.
- Brushes: one medium-sized and one small one.
- A stirring stick.
- Painting tape.
- Cloth or plastic to cover furniture or floors.
- Soapy water with neutral detergent or degreaser.
- A ladder (for higher spots)
- A wet cloth (to remove spilt paint).
- (primer, if walls still have strong suction)
This is how you start your project:
1. Choose your desired Spinder Design wall paint
The colour of your wall can be very decisive for the atmosphere and look of your interior. Take into account the influence of light.
Handy to know, the colours of our products in Silky Taupe and Dusty Green are exactly the same colour as the wall paint.
2. Degreasing walls and applying painters tape.
For the best result we recommend first degreasing the walls using a neutral cleaning product or, if necessary, an appropriate degreaser or ammonia water (1 part ammonia to 9 parts water). This is for the benefit of the adhesion of the wall paint. Also make sure that all walls, wall sockets, plinths and window frames etc. are taped off to prevent spillage. In addition; the floor and/or your furniture must be covered.
3. Get started
Now you can get to work! If your walls have a high suction capacity, we recommend using a primer first. You can test the absorbency of your walls by spraying them with a plant sprayer. Should the water immediately enter the surface, then we recommend applying a primer. Is this not the case? Then priming is not necessary.
Open the paint can with a flat screwdriver and stir the paint well with a stirring rod. Pour some paint into the paint tray and you can start.
First use the medium-sized brush to paint the outer edges of your wall. Also paint a section over the painter's tape. With the paint roller you can fill the rest of the wall.
Note that the paint dries quickly, so make long strokes and keep up the pace. Paint in a V-shape to get a streak-free finish.
Paint the first layer and leave it to dry. Then, if necessary, you can apply a second layer.
4. Cleaning up
Once the wall/walls is/are completely covered, the painting tape can be carefully removed. Do this while the paint is still a little wet, to avoid leaving bits of tape behind.
Then everything can be tidied up and the brushes can be cleaned and dried.
5. Enjoy the result
Is everything tidy and dry? Then you can now enjoy the final result: a beautiful new colour that forms the décor of your new interior!
